Medscape Education Global Delivers Education and Outcomes to ECCMID 2023

- PMLiVE

Medscape Education Global has wrapped up its time in Copenhagen at ECCMID 2023. During the conference, Medscape Education Global had the opportunity to engage learners with an educational symposium and disseminate the outcomes of recent infectious disease education through the publication of a scientific poster.

The symposium, “The Rise Of Invasive Fungal Infections, Contemporary Approaches to Diagnosis, Treatment & Prophylaxis,” shared the latest data on the treatment and prevention of fungal infections with a full room of 388 attendees. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions, respond to polling questions, and earn professional credit for their attendance.

In the poster hall, Medscape Education Global published one scientific poster showcasing the impact of online Medscape education on physician knowledge titled, “Medical Online Education Significantly Improves Physician Knowledge Regarding The Variability In The Clinical Presentation Of Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infection In Older Adults,.” You can download the full poster here.

Medscape Education develops activities and curricula with the end in mind – to advance outcomes. With over 27 years of experience, no one understands better how to develop solutions that combine scientific rigor, instructional design, adult learning principles and best-practice metrics and outcomes in order to deliver and demonstrate education with proven impact. It is this approach which facilitates the wealth of publishable outcomes we are proud to present; last year alone Medscape Education published 137 posters, abstracts, and other publications.

In addition, Medscape Education Global also held a networking event at the AC Hotel Bella Sky. This event, hosted by Dr Barbara Rath of the Vaccine Safety Initiative, USA/Germany and Research Director, University of Bourgogne Franche-Comte, Besançon, France, brought together attendees to discuss the latest developments in infectious disease and the power of education to improve outcomes for patients around the world.
