Shortening the Journey at the Unusual Suspects Meeting

Medscape will be continuing their mission to shorten the diagnostic journey for patients with a rare disease at this year’s Unusual Suspects event on February 21.

The Unusual Suspects is an annual event held at the Royal Society of Medicine in London, and this year’s focal point will be communication and inclusivity in rare disease.

Medscape offers a wide variety of resources aimed at providing the education clinicians need and want, including a dedicated learning center which hosts over 100 accredited rare disease educational activities.

“We’re committed to helping to shorten the diagnostic journey for patients with a rare disease, and education plays a huge role in helping clinicians understand whether they may be faced with a rare disease patient in their practice and what to do next. By working together and thinking rare, we can help patients get the diagnosis and information that can change their lives,” said S.
