Ogilvy appoints Mario Muredda as global chief executive officer of Ogilvy Health

Ogilvy has appointed Mario Muredda, former president of marketing at Avalere Health, as global chief executive officer of Ogilvy Health.

Muredda has more than two decades of experience in healthcare marketing, spanning professional and consumer advertising, medical education, regulatory communications and digital platforms.

He previously held multiple roles over a decade spent at Omnicom Health Group’s Harrison & Star, first joining the agency as senior vice president, director of client services, before being appointed as managing director, president and finally chief executive officer.

Earlier in his career, Muredda held roles at AgencyRx, Cline Davis & Mann, DazMedia and Precept Medical Communications.

Commenting on his latest venture, Muredda said: “Throughout my career, I’ve been driven by the power of collaboration – bringing together diverse minds to tackle complex challenges and deliver creative solutions, while moving people and inspiring action.
