Brighton-based independent healthcare specialist continues to showcase its digital expertise with shortlist nomination
Pegasus, the UK’s leading independent health communications consultancy, has been shortlisted for Excellence in Digital Communications at the PM Society Digital Media Awards 2014, for its digital work with Bausch + Lomb – one of the world’s largest suppliers of eye health products.
Recognising the best in creativity, innovation and effectiveness across the industry, the PM Society Digital Media Awards highlight the best programmes, tools and campaigns across a broad range of digital marketing activities within the healthcare arena.
The Biotrue ONEday “Access All Areas” campaign was developed to generate interest in Bausch + Lomb’s new contact lenses amongst top tier customers in the UK and Republic of Ireland. For the first time ever, selected customers were able to experience Bausch + Lomb’s innovation through a virtual 360° tour of the manufacturing facilities, interact with leading vision care scientists and experts via interactive video segments, and pose questions to professionals through a collaborative question and answer session via a gated microsite. The campaign successfully reached out to an exclusively invited group of Bausch + Lomb’s top-tier customers, whilst also offering sales managers new and unique content to help build relationships with a broader customer set.
Jo Spadaccino, Director and Head of Pharma & Life Sciences at Pegasus, commented: “We’re delighted to be shortlisted for the PM Society Digital Media Awards. The success of our digital services offer has been a strategic and vital part of the company’s growth in recent years, which has been further fuelled by our recent office move to Brighton – now considered the “digital hub” of the UK. The programme we delivered for Bausch + Lomb is a great example of how we are embracing the latest technology, whilst always anchoring ideas to clear strategic drivers which help our clients achieve their communications and business goals.
2014 is proving to be a triumphant year for Pegasus; winning the Communique ‘Consultancy of the Year Award’; the AMEC ‘Best Use of a Research Measurement and Evaluation Programme; CIPR Excellence ‘Best Healthcare Campaign’, and the SABRE EMEA ‘Health Consultancy of the Year’ award. It also achieved 22nd place in The Sunday Times ‘100 Best Small Companies to Work For’.
