Graphite Digital

Graphite is a digital experience agency specialising in healthcare and life sciences. For more than 15 years we’ve worked with global pharma and healthcare organisations to create digital experiences for patients, healthcare professionals and consumers.

Healthcare organisations have invested heavily in digital platforms, content, data and AI. The challenge isn’t creating more digital activity, it’s creating experiences people genuinely value. We help clients understand where that value is created, where effort outweighs it, and what deserves to be improved, built or scaled.

Our work combines customer research, experience strategy, product design and design systems to improve the quality of decisions before significant investment is committed, then helps clients deliver those decisions consistently across brands, markets and channels.

We work as partners rather than vendors. We ask better questions, make trade-offs visible, and bring the perspective of patients and HCPs into strategy and design so the experiences we build work for the people who actually use them.

Core capabilities:

  • Customer Insight and Opportunity Definition
  • Experience Strategy
  • Experience and Service Design
  • Design Systems and Governance

Our work is built around four capabilities: define, deliver, scale and optimise.

Define value. We connect customer insight, clinical context and business priorities to identify where value can be created for HCPs, patients and consumers. This includes journey mapping, user research and opportunity identification to prioritise where investment should go, alongside experience strategy work such as strategic workshops, jobs-to-be-done validation and measurement frameworks that align teams around the outcomes that matter.

Deliver value. We design experiences, interfaces and content models around real customer needs, behaviours and contexts, using prototyping, omnichannel UX design and usability testing. Where content alone isn’t enough, we design the wider service around it, mapping the support and value exchange customers need through service blueprinting and journey design.

Scale value. We build the design systems, governance models and adoption frameworks that let organisations deliver customer value consistently across brands, markets and channels. This spans global-to-local enablement, market enablement, implementation and support, and the training needed to embed new ways of working.

Optimise value. We help organisations learn from how customers actually behave, then use that to keep improving. This includes analytics review, evaluative research, experience audits, conversion optimisation, A/B testing and structured innovation programmes that turn insight into ongoing improvement.

Across all four, our approach stays the same: evidence-led, practical, and focused on what creates genuine value for the people organisations serve, not just what’s technically possible to build.
