During 2021 McCann Health London was proud to become an IPG Health company, a collective of over 45 agencies and 6,000+ people across six continents driven by a healthy obsession with creating novel marketing solutions and doing what’s right for our clients, their brands and our people. We benefit from the specialist insight and global perspective of a large health network, while collaborating with our clients to create bespoke solutions to the specific healthcare challenges they face.
2021 was a year of growth for us: for healthcare overall, as the continued global pandemic put a renewed focus on our capabilities and impact; for our agency as we cemented our industry position alongside IPG Health; and culturally as we consolidated our values with wellbeing and diversity/inclusion at the core of our agency offer.
Science-based approach: Our scientific approach makes complex, evidence-based science accessible to clients and stakeholders. A 450+ strong community of PhDs, MDs, pharmacists and medical/scientific experts, the council partners with WHO, UN, start-ups, advisory boards, academia and advocacy groups - particularly in advising through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Strategic outcomes: We aim to make work that works, with strategic effectiveness at the heart of what we do. From selling more nappy rash cream, companies signing up to acid control standards for Tear Couture or saving actual lives through mental health awareness campaign The Feelings and breast cancer screening campaign The Bread Exam.
Creative excellence: Our work has attracted worldwide recognition, both in healthcare communications and the broader creative sphere. We are European Health Agency of the Year (London International Awards) with a Cannes Lions Grand Prix to our name. We are also part of the Most Awarded Network (Creative Floor) and Network of the Year (Clio Health)
Informed by expertise: Our long-established Expert division offers an unrivalled level of healthcare insight through a range of current practitioners from fields including pharmacy, dentistry, nutrition and nursing. The teams’ specialist insight helps to connect to the target audience with solutions informed by real-life experience.
Our central DE&I ethos reverberates through initiatives such as our Gender Inequality Hack (developing next-level thinking for women’s health) and our IGNITE internship programme (through which we have permanently hired diverse creative talent).
