Pfizer Germany has launched an online portal that will offer healthcare professionals in the country services including training and downloadable patient materials.
The ärzteportal, or physician portal, also provides a full overview of Pfizer’s product range and pipeline research, along with information on a number of different therapeutic areas.
The pharma company will use the Pfizermed.de portal, which requires doctors to log in using either DocCheck or a Pfizer user profile, to host product-related as well as ‘product neutral’ CME-accredited training.
The site contrasts with similar pharma websites run from the UK, among them Novartis’ Gladstone and GlaxoSmithKline’s health.gsk, which need separate, and clearly marked, sections for healthcare professionals and patients to remain compliant with the ABPI’s Code of Practice.
