Sanofi’s US operations have joined the relatively small band within pharma that uses the online pin board Pinterest to share content.
It adds to the social media channels already in use at Sanofi US, including its accounts on Twitter and Facebook and the Speaking of Sanofi blog.
“Through the blog and our Twitter and Facebook channels, our goal is to continue sharing news about Sanofi US, highlighting our employees and drawing attention to health, wellness and disease awareness,” explained US communications manager Lindsey Schedler.
“With Pinterest, we plan on sharing the same types of stories but in a more visual way.”
Sanofi joins the likes of Novartis, Bayer and others within pharma in using Pinterest, ranks that look to be swelled soon by the addition of Sanofi’s US diabetes business.
