Avalere Health has announced the appointment of Saiqa Khan as its new head of growth.
Khan has over two decades of experience in healthcare and has worked across multidisciplinary roles in medical, commercial, client engagement, strategic consultancy and business development.
She joins Avalere from Complete HealthVizion, part of IPG Health, where she served as executive vice president, head of commercial development.
Previously, Khan was director, editorial and business services at Prime, and held senior leadership and strategic roles at Alpharmaxim, AMICULUM and Nucleus.
She also volunteers for One Million Mentors, a community-based mentoring project aiming to connect one million young people with opportunities.
In her latest role, Khan will lead Avalere’s global marketing business development to build new models of client partnership.
Khan said she is “excited to explore new partnership models at Avalere Health that help [its] clients navigate today’s complex landscape”.
Amar Urhekar, Avalere’s chief executive officer, said Khan is an “exceptional” leader who will be “instrumental in supporting [Avalere’s] advisory, medical and marketing experts”.
