ClinTec International has appointed Dr Robert Reekie as its chief operating officer and senior executive vice president.
He will be responsible for supporting the senior team, directing operational delivery and overseeing the development of two new provider partnerships with pharmaceutical organisations.
Dr Reekie brings 30 years of drug development and commercialisation expertise to the role, most recently having served as chief operating officer at inVentiv Health Clinical’s phase II-IV division.
Prior to working for inVentiv Health, Dr Reekie served as chief operating officer at PharmaNet prior to its acquisition by inVentiv, commercial director at Stratified Medicine Scotland-Innovation Centre and head of several clinical development groups for Boots Pharmaceuticals.
