GE Healthcare has appointed Olivier Loeillot as the company’s first general manager, Asia commercial for its BioProcess division.
Based in Singapore Loeillot will oversee commercial activities in the fast-growing Asian market for GE Healthcare’s efforts in providing technologies and services for the biopharmaceutical and vaccine manufacturing industry.
Loeillot was most recently general manager for enterprise solutions at GE Healthcare having joined the company from Lonza where he served in a number of senior management roles.
Emmanuel Ligner, general manager for global commercial BioProcess at GE Healthcare, said: “The biopharmaceutical sector in Asia is seeing a lot of rapid growth and we are delighted that Olivier is heading up our efforts in this dynamic region.”
