Gilead appoints Keeley Wettan as Executive VP, General Counsel, Legal & Compliance

Gilead has appointed Keeley Wettan as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Legal & Compliance. In her new role, she will join the company’s senior leadership team and report to chairman and CEO Daniel O’Day.

During her 14 years at Gilead, Wettan has held a variety of increasingly senior leadership roles. She was most recently Senior Vice President, leading the Global Legal Business Partners team. Prior to that, she led the Litigation and Government Investigations and the Corporate Governance and Strategic Transactions teams. She is currently Chair of the Board of the Gilead Foundation.

Wettan has provided instrumental support in a variety of drug launches, including the recent launch of the breakthrough HIV prevention medicine lenacapavir.

Prior to joining Gilead, Wettan was an attorney at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
