Inizio has announced that it has appointed Jim Sage as president of Inizio Engage.
Sage holds more than 25 years of experience in healthcare launching, building and growing pharmaceutical products, and leading complex businesses.
He is the founder and president of Sage Advice Consulting and previously held roles of increasing responsibility at Pfizer, culminating in his most recent position as North American regional president for the company’s internal medicine business and US country manager.
During his time at Pfizer, Sage also served as North American regional president for the company’s hospital and generics businesses, country manager for Greece, and vice president of primary care marketing in the US and Europe.
Paul Taaffe, Inizio’s chief executive officer, described Sage as an “established [leader]”, adding that his “extensive industry knowledge and expertise will strengthen [Inizio’s] reputation for excellence throughout the commercialisation journey”.
Sage succeeds Greg Flynn, who will transition into a new position at Inizio Engage and will take on the roles of senior advisor to Inizio Engage and chairman of Patient Access Services.
