The life science services firm inVentiv Health has named Michael Griffith as executive VP in charge of the company’s commercial and consulting businesses.
Griffith joins inVentiv Health from the contract manufacturing organisation Laureate Biopharma where he was CEO.
At inVentiv Health his responsibilities include Campbell Alliance, the biopharmaceutical management consulting firm; Adheris Health, the provider of patient adherence programmes; Chandler Chicco Companies, the healthcare communications firm and inVentiv Selling Solutions, the provider of outsourced clinical field and sales teams.
"inVentiv Health provides an opportunity for me to leverage all the skills I've acquired in finance, outsourcing, product development and commercialisation," said Griffith. "It is a pleasure to be working with a company built to change the game in the development and commercialisation of treatments that improve patient outcomes worldwide.
Griffith also founded and served as CEO of Aptuit and served as Chairman and CEO of ChiRex.
His background is financial, however, serving at both Bankers Trust Company and Credit Suisse First Boston.
