Ipsen has appointed Pierrick Lefranc as Executive Vice President (EVP) Technical Operations, as well as a member of its Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
Pierrick brings more than three decades of pharmaceutical experience to his new role at Ipsen. He joined Ipsen in 2013 and has held multiple leadership roles since that time, including Head of the company’s Signes site and, most recently, Senior Vice President. During his time at Ipsen to date, Pierrick has led projects in global manufacturing, engineering and enterprise excellence.
In his new role, Pierrick will report to David Loew, CEO of Ipsen.
Loew said: “Pierrick brings with him decades of leadership and strategic transformation expertise gained both within Ipsen and across major pharmaceutical companies.”
Pierrick added: “I’m thrilled to be joining the Executive Leadership Team and look forward to being an integral member of Ipsen’s ongoing transformation.”
Other previous roles include Director of Industrial Operations at Stallergenes and Production and Engineering Manager at Septodont. Over the course of his career, Pierrick has taken responsibility for major manufacturing operations and industrial projects. Areas in which he brings particular expertise include productivity, quality and regulatory compliance.
Pierrick succeeds Aidan Murphy in the role of EVP Technical Operations and Member of the ELT. Murphy will retire in March 2026 following 30 years at Ipsen.
Commenting on Aidan Murphy, Loew added: “Throughout his leadership roles, Aidan has built a first-class manufacturing team across the globe while driving transformation and excellence within Technical Operations.”
