Langland has announced the appointment of Gemma Cathcart, former managing director for global marketing at Avalere Health, as managing partner for its advertising discipline.
Cathcart brings extensive health advertising experience to the position and joins Langland after spending much of her career within the Hive Health network. She previously served as managing director at both Pollen Health and Hive, and was client services director at eBee.
She also held roles of increasing responsibility at FleishmanHillard earlier in her career.
Cathcart will now report directly to group managing directors Katie McMorran and Clare Middleton, and will work alongside Kate Wheeler, Beth Timm and Jake Davis, who lead the agency’s clinical trial experience, medical strategy and education, and public relations and engagement disciplines, respectively.
