Langland has appointed Victoria Kent as Managing Partner, Medical Strategy & Education, with responsibility for all medical capabilities across the business. She will set the vision for the future of Medical Affairs at Langland – evolving the existing offering, expanding global connectivity and scale, and integrating Publicis Groupe’s data capabilities within an agile team built for complexity.
Kent brings more than 15 years of leadership and medical communications experience, joining from Syneos Health Medical Communications Europe. Most recently, she served as Head of its London Agency and UK Medical Communications Lead, overseeing global client delivery and the continued integration of strategy, digital, medical affairs and publications capabilities. In addition, Kent is an active leader within the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (a global non‑profit supporting women’s leadership within healthcare) and has supported the European Leadership summit for the past four years.
Kent will report to Clare Middleton, Group Managing Director, and will collaborate closely with Kate Wheeler, Jake Davis and Gemma Cathcart, who lead Clinical Trial Experience, Public Relations, and Advertising for Langland, respectively.
Commenting on the appointment, Middleton said: “Victoria’s appointment marks a point of significant strategic inflection for Langland’s medical capabilities, as Medical Affairs assumes greater strategic weight for long-term value creation in pharma. Victoria’s experience and clear vision will ensure the agency stays ahead of the curve – partnering with clients as they navigate their own evolution.”
Kent added: “I’m delighted to be joining Langland’s Medical Strategy & Education team with a future-focused mandate. The agency has leapt from strength to strength in recent years and I can’t wait to partner with the leadership team that has driven this momentum to focus on the next stage of growth.”
