Medivir has appointed Patrik Norgren as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The Swedish pharmaceutical company is focused on developing medical treatments in areas of high unmet need and Norgren takes on the role as of 23 March.
Norgren has over 20 years of experience in the sector and previously held CFO and senior financial leadership roles across both private and publicly listed companies. Most recently, he served as CFO of the Swedish pharmaceutical company Cinclus Pharma.
Norgen’s appointment as CFO will help to ensure a smooth transition and an effective handover as he takes over the role from outgoing CFO, Magnus Christensen.

Norgren is also owner and CEO of Two Tribes, a management consulting company in the Stockholm area in Sweden.
