Medical communications agency Fishawack Communications has appointed Gary Lyons to lead its delivery team.
Based in Knutsford in the UK, Lyons will also provide commercial oversight across Fishawack’s UK business, the agency said. He will report to Fishawack Group managing director Gail Flockhart.
Lyons, who joined Fishawack from Chameleon last month, has more than two decades’ experience in medical communications and the pharmaceuticals industry, and has held senior management positions in a number of leading agencies.
Lyons said he was excited to join the agency: “Opportunities for senior management positions within leading and rapidly expanding agencies like this don’t appear very often.
He added: “I’m looking forward to working with teams across the organisation to help ensure Fishawack’s outstanding growth and success continue”.
Lyons’ appointment ties in with the Fishawack Group’s ‘buy and build’ strategy, said CEO Oliver Dennis. The group – which joined forces with Growth Capital Partners in April this year – has 160 employees worldwide, 100 of them employed in the UK across a variety of functions.
