Pfizer has promoted Monica Piñuela to lead its communications efforts in Spain.
The appointment is an internal one as Piñuela was previously head of communications for Pfizer’s oncology unit in Spain. She has also headed Pfizer Spain’s communications for the Pfizer Foundation and was previously part of the European team for Pfizer’s media relations department.
In her new role Piñuela will coordinate external communication and internal business units for Pfizer in Spain. She will report to director of communication and institutional relations Juan Jose Francisco Polledo,
Polledo said: “I am sure that Monica’s extensive experience will contribute to team performance communication and to support all business units of the company.”
