Fishawack launches two new divisions

As part of a realigned service offering, the Fishawack Group of Companies has unveiled two new divisions, Fishawack Medical Communications and Fishawack Creative.

Partnering with pharma, biotech and medical device clients, Fishawack Medical Communications will develop and deliver services in the fields of med comms, scientific engagement, publications, market access, strategic and thought leader consultancy.

Meanwhile, Fishawack Creative will offer strategic planning, creative development, brand marketing and tactical execution.

“It is great to have a fresh website that showcases our capabilities and better reflects the dynamism of Fishawack as we collaborate with and integrate our new agencies,” explained Oliver Dennis, Chief Executive Officer of the Fishawack Group. “The new two-division structure provides clarity for our clients of the medical communications and creative offerings our expanding teams deliver across the globe.”

Bolstering its online presence, the group has also unveiled a new website, which provides news, careers and contact information.

Life Healthcare Communications partners with hygiene charity

Shitty gifts

Life Healthcare Communications has teamed up with Sanitation First, a charity that builds EcoSan (ecological sanitation) toilets for underdeveloped communities.

According to the companies, 2.4 billion people worldwide don’t have access to a toilet, and 1.8 billion children die from diarrhoea, mainly due to contaminated drinking water.

The charity has so far built just over 5,000 toilets, which are all Urine Diverting Dry systems, allowing the separation of solids and liquids.

It enables the recycling of human waste, transforming it into a safe compost and fertiliser.

In order to raise awareness, Life Healthcare Communications has unveiled the ‘Shitty Gifts’ website, inviting people to send loved ones an e-card with a funny illustration and message and is accepting donations.

The website was launched to coincide with World Toilet Day (19 December), and was originated by global health creative network The BlocPartners.

ROAD Healthcare wins account

Healthcare communications specialist ROAD has been appointed by Conceptua Diagnostics to provide PR and social marketing support for its home-use fertility monitoring system.

myLotus measures hormone levels in real-time, which provides fertility information throughout the hormone cycle via an app.

“Internet of Things connectivity, artificial intelligence and app-based interfaces are making professional standard diagnostics in the home a reality,” said Sarah Winterbottom, director at ROAD.

“Our approach is highly targeted, integrated and above all, sensitive to what can be an extremely emotive health issue.”
