Ogilvy Commonhealth Worldwide open Moscow offices

Will focus on pharmaceutical and healthcare market in Russia

Ogilvey Commonhealth Worldwide has launched a new Moscow branch, which will form part of Ogilvy Group Russia.

The agency will provide the pharmaceutical and healthcare market with services including market access, OTC and Rx portfolio management, marketing, patient/HCP/pharmacy insight, advertising, media planning, medical education and digital communications.

The New Jersey, US-headquartered communications agency has appointed Dr Ekaterina Vaganova as managing director of the new Moscow offices.

As a graduate of Warsaw Medical Academy in Poland, Vaganova’s professional career began with PwC Poland, where she was involved in supporting the Glaxo Wellcome and SmithKline Beecham merger.

In 2004 she returned to Russia and joined Publicis Group Russia, where she led and developed the communications agency’s pharmaceutical business unit.

“Health has always been a key human value. That’s why emphasising the importance of health-related products for our customers is a priority for us. We’ve built a first-class professional team – doctors, strategic planners, creatives and skilled communications managers – to deliver for our clients,” Vaganova said.

Commenting on the launch, Ogilvy Commonhealth Worldwide president, Gloria Gibbons, said: “Now, with the changing market needs in Russia, we believe the Ogilvy Commonhealth offer is just what the healthcare sector needs here. And Ekaterina is the best person to lead this exciting challenge.”
