The 2024 edition of PMLiVE’s T40 list of creative agencies working on advertising, branding, creative and design projects in the UK healthcare sector has been published.
The fifth edition of the list highlights the agencies that had the most impact on the sector in 2023. Rankings were calculated using a mix of information supplied by the agencies and data found in the public domain, including results from selected 2023 healthcare awards schemes, agency billings and social media presence.
Havas Lynx came out on top, with McCann Health London and Ogilvy Health UK following close behind in second and third place, respectively. Inizio Evoke, FCB Health London, VCCP Health, OPEN X Health, Cherry, Costello Medical and Havas Life Medicom, Seven Stones Collective, Oi, Get Animated Medical, Salt and Swordfish Advertising all made the top 15.
As well as an overall ranking, T40 includes top ten lists for smaller, independent, young and UK-focused agencies.
Seven Stones Collective (ranked 11 overall) took first place in both the smaller and UK-focused agencies categories.
Costello Medical (ranked nine overall) was awarded the top spot in the independent agencies list, while OPEN X Health (ranked seven overall) placed first in the young agencies category.
Big climbers in this year’s list included Verve, Salt, Seven Stones, Dice and Create Health.
To be listed, all agencies needed to have offices or a registered address within the UK, permanent staff working in the UK, and have billed over £100,000 on advertising, branding, creative and design work in the UK healthcare sector in 2023.
Also included in this year’s list are integrated communications consultancies that have indicated that they include a creative agency or have a relatively large amount of work in the creative sector.
The 2024 edition of the T40 is now available online. A print edition of the list will be published shortly and will include further analysis, comment and agency profiles.
