Integrated medical comms agency Havas Life Medicom has unveiled nine new hires in the last quarter.

Melanie York
Joining the London-based agency as a medical content strategist is Melanie York. She previously worked at Citigate Biocommunications advising biotech and pharmaceutical clients on corporate and financial communications. She has also worked for the Office of Health Economics (part of the ABPI) helping to grow their health economics consultancy.

Claudia San Juan
Also expanding the team is Claudia San Juan, who joins as a planning executive. San Juan has an academic background in Cognitive Neuroscience and Consumer Psychology. In her most recent position, Claudia worked at a digital advertising agency, focusing on paid Search and E-commerce for two FMCG accounts.

Lillie Rizzo
Lillie Rizzo joins Havas Life as an account manager, and has eight years’ experience in the event industry including three years where she specialised in healthcare and pharma.
Smitha Kusumakar has re-joined the agency as communications manager. Kusumakar has a background in Public Health and was previously a project manager in the public sector. In her previous role at Havas Life as account manager, she worked on medical education and marketing campaigns across a number of brands.
Strengthening Havas Life’s editorial team is Richard Power, who joins the agency as an editorial writer, with a background in public health. Joining the moving images team as a graphic designer is April Howlett.
Alex Panton, Callum Shaw and Clea Simmonds have also joined the company as account executives.
