Amiculum reaffirms presence in Dundee with new office and continued academic partnership

March 26, 2026 | Dundee, life sciences

Amiculum is pleased to announce the relocation of its Dundee team to a new, state-of-the-art facility at the Dundee Life Sciences Innovation Hub, an environment designed to accelerate scientific progress and collaboration. The move represents an exciting milestone as Amiculum reaffirms its commitment to scientific and healthcare communications in a city known for world-leading life sciences research.

Life Sciences Innovation Hub Dundee

A space purpose built for scientific innovation

The Innovation Hub offers flexible, contemporary facilities that bring together laboratory space, modern work areas and shared amenities, making it an ideal home for companies looking to grow or start up in Dundee’s thriving life sciences community.

“The new facilities are fantastic,” remarked Hayley Deasley, account lead at Amiculum and a regular visitor to the Dundee office. “Having access to this modern space enhances how we work day to day and brings us closer to the wider scientific community in Dundee.”

Our academic collaboration with the University of Dundee

A key part of Amiculum’s Dundee presence is its continued collaboration with the University of Dundee on the MSc in Science and Health Communication. Conceived in partnership with Amiculum, the programme was created to better prepare graduates for careers in medical writing and healthcare communications.

The course offers hands-on experience across visual and written communication, social media strategy, storytelling, graphic design and the use of AI, skills that directly reflect changing industry needs. Amiculum’s involvement includes guest teaching from scientific communication experts, ensuring that students benefit from real-world insights and up-to-date knowledge of the field.

Driving impact at the intersection of science, healthcare and education

By embedding itself within Dundee’s vibrant scientific environment and building on academic partnerships, Amiculum is continuing to contribute meaningfully to the global health communications landscape.

Richard Allcorn, Amiculum co-founder, commented, “We’re really pleased to be part of this community. Being so close to active research gives us more opportunities to stay connected to the science and collaborate with the teams driving it. It’s a great environment for our Dundee team and for the work we’re doing across Amiculum.”

As the team settles into the new Dundee facility, Amiculum looks forward to welcoming colleagues and collaborators, and to continuing to build strong relationships among the city’s scientific and academic community.
