Rewarding Long Service at Bedrock

Katie Penfold celebrates 5 years with the Bedrock Group

This week the Bedrock Group celebrated Katie Penfold’s 5-year anniversary with Bedrock Healthcare. Katie joined the team as an Account Manager in July 2014 and has worked her way up through the organisation to Account Director. We asked Katie what has kept her motivated and loyal to Bedrock over the past 5 years.

“When I went for my interview at Bedrock and met with David Youds our CEO, it was David’s vision for Bedrock and passion for the business that excited me most. I remember leaving the interview and saying to myself that if I didn’t get a job at Bedrock this time, I would keep trying until I did! I wanted to be part of Bedrock’s success and growth. Over the last 5 years, I’ve had the opportunity to be a part of that and have worked on some incredible projects with some great people along the way, this is what continues to motivate me today. I’d forgotten that there was a reward for long service and was just chuffed with the huge bunch of flowers I was presented with. I will have to think about what my reward goes towards. I’m sure it’s got the word ‘spa’ in it somewhere though!”
