Cambridge, UK — January 2024 — Cuttsy+Cuttsy, a healthcare communication agency, is pleased to announce the appointment of Harriet Karia as its first Managing Director. This move follows a period of substantial growth and is a practical step towards the agency’s future plans.

In her new role, Harriet will oversee Client Service and take on a broader agency overview, supported by the founders, Caroline Benson and Mathew Cutts.

Harriet joined Cuttsy+Cuttsy in early 2020 as an Account Director, quickly moving up to become Client Service Director. With over 20 years in the charity sector, including roles at Age UK (Help the Aged), Macmillan Cancer Support, and The Hospice of St Francis, Harriet has a wealth of experience in engaging the public and leading successful teams.

Caroline Benson, Co-Founder of Cuttsy+Cuttsy, said, “Harriet’s promotion is an exciting time for us, her natural leadership and strong relationships with clients and colleagues made her an obvious choice for the role. She will continue to ensure everyone gets the support they need, both inside and outside the agency.”

Mathew Cutts, Co-Founder, added, “With our recent growth, it’s time to set up the infrastructure to continue building a sustainable business that remains grounded in our values. Harriet is key to the prioritisation of our clients, our team, and the real impact our work has on people’s lives.”

Harriet commented, “I’m delighted to be taking on the role of Managing Director. Leading our talented team is a privilege, and I’m proud to work with individuals whose passion and creativity form the core of our success. I look forward to building on our achievements, nurturing our award-winning culture, and making a meaningful impact in healthcare communications.”
