Cuttsy+Cuttsy launch their latest patient e-book

On the eve of ‘World Osteoporosis Day’ (worldosteoporosisday.org), Cuttsy+Cuttsy are proud to launch their latest e-book ‘Osteoporosis…in plain English’.

Osteoporosis is a chronic condition that affects up to one in three people aged 50 and over. But as a silent condition, many people may not be aware they have osteoporosis until they experience a fracture and pain.

Written by Scientific Team Leader Dr Liz Walder, and beautifully illustrated by Graphic Designer Kiemia Farrow, Osteoporosis … in plain English’ provides accessible information for anyone who wants to understand more about osteoporosis and its treatment.

As with other titles in Cuttsy+Cuttsy’s ‘in plain English’ series, this not-for-profit book has been created with health literacy principles in mind, and it has been reviewed by the people who matter most – patients.   ‘Osteoporosis… in plain English’ serves as a comprehensive, easy-to-understand resource to help people better understand a debilitating condition that can have a big impact on quality of life.

If you or someone you know has osteoporosis, this book might help take some of the unknown away. You can purchase a copy of ‘Osteoporosis…in plain English’ through Amazon, along with the other titles in the series:
