Cuttsy+Cuttsy’s first EcoVadis rating comes back silver!

Louise Jones, Sustainability Officer at Cuttsy+Cuttsy celebrates their new silver sustainability rating

Over the past year we have been making practical steps to align Cuttsy+Cuttsy to a more sustainable future. Earlier this month, we completed our first voluntary assessment as part of this goal. EcoVadis is a sustainability ratings provider who partner with companies to supply a globally recognised scorecard and performance improvement tools. The submission required a thorough audit across many of our operations, processes, and carbon footprint.

The results are in and Cuttsy+Cuttsy now rate among the top 25 percent of companies assessed by EcoVadis, scoring us a Silver accreditation. As our first submission, this is slightly mind-blowing.

To say I am over the moon would be an understatement. The team and I have worked incredibly hard, and our commitment to sustainability has clearly been reflected. We are incredibly proud of this score, and we are already working on the objectives to achieve Gold.

We are firm believers in better health for everyone and this cannot be achieved without also considering the health of our planet. This is just the first voluntary disclosure we have conducted this year, there will be plenty more to come. Watch this space.

Cuttsy+Cuttsy are committed to a net zero future, and we will achieve this through accurate carbon disclosures and verifiable science-based targets. We will accomplish this, and I look forward to the day when we announce ‘WE DID IT’.
