Internal Brand Planning Sessions on the Impetus InSite Platform®

A Customer Story

In this Customer Story, we share how a nephrology brand team approached Impetus Digital for help with streamlining and optimizing their annual brand planning and strategic discussions. In the early parts of the pandemic, they had attempted to host these meetings themselves over a standard web meeting platform. While they understood the benefits of virtual, they found it difficult to align and reach consensus through their current approach due to a lack of an integrated view of all moving parts and diverse viewpoints.

After meeting with Impetus’ team of strategic experts, the client opted for a hybrid of asynchronous (over-time, anytime) and synchronous (real-time) virtual meetings and interactive tools to meet all strategic objectives in an as efficient as possible manner.

Broadly, the client’s main objectives were to:

  1. Simplify the typically rigid annual brand planning process, shorten decision-making times, and optimize global/local alignment and collaboration.
  2. Conduct a deep-dive business review, including of brand positioning, and identify key drivers and barriers for the brand in the year to come.
  3. Clearly articulate strategic priorities, operational goals, and implementation tactics, then attain approval/endorsement from the executive team to launch the strategic plan.
  4. Create a detailed and actionable brand plan, allocating the brand’s limited resources to the initiatives that will result in the highest return on investment.
