Getting to know eLearning

February 24, 2025 |

At LOVELIVE we have a wealth of skills and experience when it comes to designing and producing engaging eLearning tools.

User experience is key, so we combine easy to navigate modules with visually engaging content, gamification and knowledge checks which in turn motivates, ensures user engagement and aids knowledge retention.

Eager to show some of the capabilities of eLearning tools, our skilled presentations team developed an interactive demonstration to help our clients during the planning stages of eLearning projects. Visit Our Services section HERE to DOWNLOAD OUR ELEARNING SHOWCASE.

We also asked the team what goes into producing such items and – is it always plain sailing?

Senior Presentations & Digital Designers, Becky Newton and Liam Livesey it’s over to you…

LIAM

What do you think attracts people to eLearning versus other traditional methods of training?
I think the fact there are so many features to choose from. You can make it visually engaging with animations rather than static images as well as games to help keep the user entertained as they work through the information. A voiceover can often be a great addition too!

What would you say is your favourite part of designing for eLearning?
I love being able to show the initial design concepts to our clients in PowerPoint, displaying how it can look at the start. I always have the end user experience in the back of my mind, so understanding the importance of a good design structure early on is essential.

In less than 20 words, why would you recommend eLearning to clients?
eLearning is a great way to ensure your educational program is more interactive, more engaging and most importantly more fun!

What would you say to anyone who is thinking of introducing eLearning?
Make it as engaging as possible! Think logically about how you would like the flow of the modules to work, the overall learning journey is what you want to achieve. The interactive quiz sections give the user the ability to grade their own progress – it’s a good way to stay self-motivated while navigating through.

Which features of eLearning do you think are beneficial to users?
I think it really depends on the subject. Recently we’ve incorporated into the design more videos of HCPs discussing case studies and the patient treatment journeys alongside supporting figures and text. With the addition of voiceovers and subtitles, this makes them accessible for all.

In less than 20 words, why would you recommend eLearning to clients?
It allows the user to learn at their own pace wherever they are, it’s flexible and convenient.
