Lucid Group announces the evolution of its consulting division, Lucid Strategy Consulting, setting a new standard for deep-domain, knowledge-led consulting solutions for life sciences. We have brought together two Lucid divisions spanning management consulting and pharma asset strategy, to create an integrated consulting offering, enhancing the ability to support clients at critical moments of inflection. The division will be led by Simon Bates, whose extensive expertise in Strategy, Innovation, and Transformation across life sciences further strengthens our capability and commitment to support our clients in the life sciences and healthcare industries.
We solve complex, multifaceted problems for our clients. By achieving strategic clarity and pragmatic cross-functional alignment, our newly unified team helps to accelerate asset development and commercialisation, and drive operational effectiveness across client functions. The consulting we deliver is outcomes-driven. Ultimately, clients value Lucid Strategy Consulting for helping them optimise performance for their patients, customers, staff, and shareholders.
Creating Value for Clients
“Lucid Strategy Consulting brings together the right minds – strategic, scientific, commercial, and behavioural – to help our clients unlock progress,” said Simon Bates, Managing Director. “Patients’ evolving needs and behaviours, plus the complex challenges faced by healthcare providers and payors, mean life science clients need agility, innovation, and grit from their consulting partners. So we embed ourselves in our clients’ challenges, co-create pragmatic strategies that move people, align organisations and accelerate change where it matters most.”
Expanding Capabilities
“With expanded capabilities in asset and portfolio strategy, we empower clients to define clear ambitions, optimise investment behind their assets and indications, and maximise impact across the product lifecycle,” said Clare Reynolds, Senior Vice President. “Recent examples of impact include transforming strategic planning through AI-driven insights, using data and technology to elucidate a new patient pathway in a rare disease, and enabling faster market access and uptake for breakthrough therapies.”
Redefining Life Sciences Consulting
Lucid Strategy Consulting combines deep life sciences fluency, real-world insight, and “commercial/operational nous” to deliver clarity at moments of strategic uncertainty. The team, which brings global and key market expertise with offices in the US, UK, and India, combines scientific and commercial proficiency, with every consultant holding advanced degrees in life sciences, business management, or economics.
“Clients value our team’s deep scientific knowledge across multiple therapy areas, our strategic mindset, and our ability to tackle complex challenges through structured, data-driven problem-solving,” shared Dr Tavia Chetty, Manager. “I enjoy helping our clients to achieve their goals by conducting rigorous analyses, designing and implementing tailored, creative solutions that drive measurable impact.”
Our team, which is actively hiring to meet client demand, is seeking diverse talent and expertise to strengthen our ability to deliver transformative solutions across life sciences.
