Lucid celebrates summer in style at their annual summer meeting

July 24, 2018 |

- PMLiVELucid held their annual Summer Meeting last week. The event is all about taking the time out to celebrate colleagues, teams, and all they have achieved in the year so far. It is greatly anticipated across the Lucid family of companies.

Lucid’s co-founders, Jan Steele and Dennis O’Brien, kick-started the day with their reflections on Lucid’s journey over the last 11 years. 2018 has been yet another stellar year for Lucid, with huge growth and success across the business, winning both Communiqué Medical Education Consultancy of the Year and Communiqué Communications Consultancy of the Year, as well as two programme awards.

With everyone feeling proud and inspired, the day flowed into breakout sessions focused on mindfulness practices to build resilience, magic mocktail making, a game of ‘quidditch pong’ and a session with a mind-reading magician. The event was attended by Lucidians from all across the UK, with the US team holding a meeting in tandem, and video-calling in! Louise Verrall, Managing Director commented, “It was a really great day! I am so proud to be a part of such a dynamic, human centric and progressive organisation, it makes you feel like anything is possible.”

To close the formal part of the meeting, the teams gathered to celebrate their recent Communiqué wins and team successes. The inaugural Team Culture Awards were then presented to Lucid teams who have pioneered Lucid’s culture and spirit in their work this past year.

After the formal summer meeting ended, the grounds at Lucid Towers were opened to welcome family, friends and partners of the Lucid team for an enchanting garden party.

The Lucid charity working group – Lucid SPIRIT – also held a raffle, raising over £400 to support the amazing work of Lucid’s charity partner, Wycombe Homeless Connection (WHC). WHC is a local charity dedicated to transforming the lives of people who are homeless in and around High Wycombe, where Lucid is headquartered. In true Lucid style, it was a magical day for all
