Lucid win PMEA Support Agency of the Year 2016

- PMLiVE
Last night the Lancaster London Hotel hosted the annual PMEA awards. These awards recognise and commend companies and programmes demonstrating excellence, best practice and innovation in improving patient outcomes on a local and global scale.

Lucid entered four categories and were shortlisted for them all! The company was therefore delighted to attend the awards last night and scoop two of the prizes, and receive a high commendation in the other two categories.

Winner: Support Agency of Year
 – Lucid Group.
This new category recognises excellent work from companies in support sectors who have provided their pharmaceutical clients with outstanding assistance across their businesses.Judges’ comments: “Lucid demonstrated great strategy, innovative developments and effective motivation of their own team. They drive measurable improvement in patient outcomes and have a commitment to truly embedding behaviour change principles in their solutions.”

Winner: Excellence in Physicians / Healthcare Provider Support Programmes
– Psoriasis Expert Exchange FoRum (PEER)
This programme aims to change clinical behaviour on a global scale to improve standards of care in the management of psoriatic arthritis.Judges’ comments: “In taking a different approach, this work stands out from the many support programmes already out there. AbbVie and Lucid really understood behaviour change and showed how this understanding could be applied for high impact. We really liked the very clear link between strategy and tactics in the PEER programme, leading to excellent implementation.”

Highly Commended: Innovation
– Advance Outcomes®
Lucid’s innovative Advance Outcomes® approach employs a behaviour-change model for medical education to achieve improved, measurable healthcare and patient outcomes.

Highly Commended: Excellence in Healthcare Collaboration and Partnerships
 – The Ulcerative Colitis Endoscopic Index of Severity Online Tool

Jan Steele (Lucid Co-Founder andCOO) commented: “Being recognised for our work at these awards makes me incredibly proud of the team we have built over the last decade. The judge’s comments were great in acknowledging the work we have done to bring behaviour changing approaches to our medical education.  And these awards also reflect strong partnerships with talented clients who understand the importance of driving clinically meaningful improvements in patient outcomes, rather than just focusing on brand metrics. The PEER programme is a great example of how we support both our clients and the patients they are aiming to help by driving up standards of care through a strategy that is underpinned by behaviour-change techniques.”
