How Sweet It Is: Medscape at ADA 2026

- PMLiVE

The energy is building as we prepare to head to New Orleans, LA, for the annual scientific sessions of the American Diabetes Association from June 4-8. The Medscape Diabetes and Endocrinology team is ready to deliver an unforgettable experience packed with innovation, connection, and real-world impact.

The team will host educational symposia on the field’s most pressing topics, presenting posters on the real-world impact of Medscape CME, and welcoming The Sugar Queens to our booth for a live recording of their award winning podcast: The CGM Sweet Talk with the Sugar Queens

Experience “The Sugar Queens” Live!

The Sugar Queens are on a mission to change how clinicians approach diabetes care. With a bold, no-nonsense style, Jennifer Goldman, PharmD, CDCES, BC-ADM, FCCP; Davida F. Kruger, MSN, APN-BC, BC-ADM; and Eden M. Miller, DO, D-ABOM, D-ACD cut through the complexity of CGM, lifestyle interventions, and medication management — delivering the kind of “sweet talk” that moves the needle in practice.

Every episode tackles the questions clinicians actually face: Who benefits from CGM? How do you optimize treatment? And how do you navigate the real-world barriers of access, disparities, and patient adherence?

The first season garnered 213,500+ views on YouTube, 1,372,813 social media reach, and led to measurable impact on Medscape diabetes information seeking, including:

  • 50,000+ downloads of WebMD infographics on prediabetes screening
  • 150,000 healthcare professionals engaged with live symposia on GLP-1 RAs and stroke risk
  • 30% increase in CME completions for Comprehensive Type 2 Diabetes Management

Attendees can stop by booth #2225 on Saturday, June 6th for a live guest appearance from the Sugar Queens at 2 pm.

Ignite Your Practice With Interactive Symposia

There will be 3 Medscape symposia at this year’s conference, covering hot topics in diabetes and endocrinology care. Sessions are interactive by design; clinicians can race colleagues through case challenges, step into live clinics with simulated patients, and walk away with concrete strategies for translating evidence into practice.
