Medscape at ESCMID 2025: Advancing Infectious Disease Education

Medscape, a global leader in infectious disease education, continues its commitment to advancing knowledge in the field. With 1.47 million ID learners in 2024, the Medscape team will travel to Vienna for the upcoming ESCMID Global conference to present scientific posters and host an exclusive event for faculty and supporters.

Medscape publishes over 100 scientific posters and publications annually. At ESCMID, they will present four posters showcasing the educational impact of programs on RSV, Dengue Fever, and respiratory infection prevention. These publications will be available in the poster hall during conference hours. Details are as follows:

In addition to its poster presentations, Medscape will host an exclusive off-site event featuring renowned faculty members Dr. Federico Martinón-Torres, Dr. George Kassianos, and Dr. David Paterson. They will share insights on:

  • The latest strategies in the fight against AMR
  • Key takeaways from ESCMID 2025

Medscape will also present findings from a survey of clinicians treating AMR, providing critical insights into urgent educational gaps.
