Medscape Education presenting at the 17th Annual European CME Forum

With a commitment to advancing the field of continuing medical education, the Medscape team will be travelling to Madrid for the 17th Annual European CME Forum and bringing with them new research and insights. This year, they will be presenting a research poster as well as hosting a breakout session workshop on timely topics of interest to the CME community.

Sushant Dahiya at Medscape Education, will present a poster on AI and CME, showcasing findings from a survey conducted among Medscape members across the EU4+UK. This survey explored physician perceptions of AI, current applications in practice, and essential knowledge areas to ensure CME is addressing clinician needs for integrating AI. With over 250 physician participants, 85% expressed interest in further AI education, underscoring a clear demand for comprehensive training and resources in this emerging field. These findings provide a valuable glimpse into the present landscape and future directions in AI-related CME.

Katie Lucero, Chief Impact Officer at Medscape Education, will join Lawrence Sherman, Global Inspirational Learning Facilitator at Meducate Global, to lead an engaging breakout workshop titled “Anticipating Tomorrow: Developments, Techniques, and Challenges.” A breakout session workshop on the use of the Transtheoretical Model of Behaviour Change (TTM). This session will define TTM and its applications in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for both program planning and outcome measurement. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  •       Define the principles of TTM
  •       Discuss how TTM can guide CPD planning
  •       Explore its role in measuring outcomes
  •       Apply TTM strategies to their own CPD initiatives

For more information on these topics, please contact Sushant Dahiya at sdahiya@medscape.net and Katie Lucero at KLucero@medscape.net
