Medscape Education Returns as Thought Leaders to AIS 2025

- PMLiVE

📍 September 8–10, 2025
Hilton at Penn’s Landing | Philadelphia, PA

Medscape Education is proud to return to the 2025 Alliance Industry Summit (AIS) as a Silver Sponsor and leading voice in continuing medical education. This year, we are showcasing the measurable impact of our programs through three powerful sessions focused on aligning education with improved patient outcomes.

As runners-up for the Best in Class outcomes award, Medscape Education will be presenting two 10-minute sessions on the outcomes of their recent education. Chief Impact Officer Katie Lucero, PhD, will be presenting “Aligned at Content and Relationship: Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) Patient and HCP Education Improve Diagnostic Testing for HCM.” This session looks at a Medscape education program that provided aligned patient and clinician education on HCM and the impact that education had on care. A second session, “Improving Management Practices and Clinical Transformations for Type 2 Diabetes,” presented by Freddy Green, Outcomes Reporting Manager, will look at the insights and impact of the IMPACT2D education program in type 2 diabetes care and management. Both sessions will be presented on Monday, September 8, starting at 5:00 PM.

“We’re excited to bring these sessions to AIS 2025 as a part of our continued commitment to the dissemination of our insights and impact. Creating impactful education is our top priority in every activity we create, and sharing these outcomes is a crucial part of showing just how powerful continuing education can be,” said Dr Lucero.

In addition, Medscape’s Center of Excellence for Instructional Design will be presenting “From Insight to Impact: Designing Medical Education That Changes Practice—and Patients’ Lives,” a 30-minute thought leadership session. This session dives into evidence-based instructional strategies that link education directly to clinical improvement and impact. Attendees will explore real-world examples, co-create instructional frameworks, and walk away with actionable tools to improve their own programs.

Medscape is proud to support the attendee experience by providing the official conference tote bags through our silver sponsorship.

“We’re always happy to be back at AIS and support this great event. We can learn so much from each other, and it’s great to see the amazing things happening in medical education.”
