Medscape Wins Anthem Award for Rare Disease Education Platform

Newark, NJ – [November 18, 2025] – Medscape, the leading digital platform for physicians and healthcare professionals (HCPs), has been awarded a 2025 Silver Anthem Award for Pathways in Rare Disease: Being Rare Together. The platform won in the Health: Education or Literacy Program or Platform category, celebrating its mission-driven work in helping to end the diagnostic odyssey for millions worldwide through healthcare education

Pathways in Rare Disease: Being Rare Together is a multifaceted destination page dedicated to education and resources from diagnosis to care.  Activities are developed in collaboration with rare disease advocacy organizations and a steering committee of expert clinicians. Since its inception in 2021, the Pathways in Rare Disease learning center has delivered life-changing education at a global scale, including:

  • Reaching over 2.4 million learners.
  • Processing 552,000 test takers.
  • Launching 365 accredited activities, with the patient voice remaining at the core.
