Reflecting on this recognition, Michelle shared, “My work in hematology/oncology is deeply personal, and I am passionate about advancing education, fostering collaboration, and ensuring we continue to elevate the standard of care for patients. Through my involvement in HOPA—whether shaping conference content, mentoring colleagues, or strategizing for the organization’s future—I’ve been fortunate to work alongside inspiring professionals who share a common goal: making a meaningful impact in oncology. I look forward to continuing this journey, driving innovation, and supporting the next generation of leaders in our field.”
Michelle will be formally honored at the 2025 HOPA Annual Conference during the Annual Member Business Meeting on Thursday, April 10th, at 10:50 AM PST.
