The Medscape Education Global team has returned from EAU in Milan, Italy, having presented an educational symposium and a networking event with Urology faculty and supporters.

The educational symposium, Harnessing the Potential of Advanced Prostate Cancer Therapies: Maximising Clinical Benefits for Patients helped to share the latest data and advances on prostate cancer therapies; attendance was impressive, with around 500 participants in person and online.

On 10 March, faculty and supporters came together with Medscape for a networking happy hour at Tailor Restaurant NH Collection Milano Citylife. Following an introduction and presentation by Axel Merseburger, MD Professor of Urology Chairman Department of Urology University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein Lübeck, Germany, attendees had the opportunity to discuss the latest in Urology education and advances while they enjoyed light refreshments.

The activities at EAU are just the latest in Medscape’s efforts to disseminate their expertise and impact in Urology. In 2022, Medscape developed 37 Urology education programs, reaching more than 21,000 urologists. These programs had a strong impact in promoting changes in practice and increasing knowledge, confidence, and competence.
