June 10, 2016 | Consultancy of the Year, Healthcare PR, Sabre Awards
Pegasus wins the prestigious “EMEA Healthcare PR Consultancy of the Year” award at the recent Sabre Awards in Berlin, organised by The Holmes Report.
Pegasus, an Ashfield company part of UDG Healthcare plc’, was delighted to win the prestigious “EMEA Healthcare PR Consultancy of the Year” award at the recent Sabre Awards in Berlin, organised by The Holmes Report. The judges recognised exceptional integrated offer, their pace of growth and an investment in people and skills.
On the win, judges commented that “With the traditional Rx pharmaceutical business going through a difficult period—relatively few new blockbuster drugs, and a challenging regulatory environment—healthcare PR firms are being forced to look for new avenues of growth, and those looking to the consumer health space have found at least a couple of established competitors taking the lead. Pegasus, based on the south coast of England and focused on “inspiring healthy decisions,” must be the most eye-catching of these”.
The judges recognised an “outstanding pace of growth” in 2015, a milestone achievement of 100 employees who work across a broad range of services, including digital, social and creative and growth through new business from Daiichi Sankyo, Denplan, DuPont, Elanco, GR Lanes, Lloyds Pharmacy and PAGB.
This isn’t the first time Pegasus has won the EMEA Healthcare PR Consultancy of the Year. Simon Hackett, Managing Director of Pegasus, commented: “The EMEA’s recognition of Pegasus as Healthcare PR Consultancy of the Year in both 2014 and 2016 shows how our ‘health first, sector second’ approach, alongside our mission of ‘inspiring healthy decisions’, continues to be a successful formula. We are proud that unique offering truly helps our clients achieve their goals, and honored that our reputation is regarded among the highest in the industry.
”The win comes shortly after Pegasus received three top accolades at the PM Society Digital Media Awards 2016, including gold for the highly acclaimed Craft: Best Innovation award, and two silvers for the Effectiveness: Digital projects within healthcare partnerships award and the Craft: Film award.
Pegasus eagerly awaits the 2016 Communique awards, where the team are finalists in three award categories: Excellence in Media Relations (Brand); Excellence in Digital Communications (Consumer Health); and the prestigious ‘Consultancy of the Year’ award.
