Following continued portfolio growth throughout 2018, Pegasus, an Ashfield Company, part of UDG Healthcare plc, has bolstered its Pharma & Life Sciences practice with the appointment of five new team members in recent weeks.

The new recruits bring additional sector expertise and further strengthen the agency’s integrated communications offering.

James Osborn, Director, Pharma & Life Sciences at Pegasus, said: “The expansion of our team follows a year of significant, consistent growth. I’m delighted to welcome our newest recruits and look forward to working alongside them. Their experience and spirit will enable us to create even more inspirational campaigns that help improve people’s lives.”

The hires include Adam Pett, Senior Account Director, who brings 20 years of marketing communications experience to Pegasus. He has delivered brand and advertising campaigns for a range of clients including Roche, UK Stem Cell Foundation and Department of Health, as well as BBC Worldwide, Procter & Gamble and Amazon.

Jen Lewis joins Pegasus as an Account Director from precision oncology company Agendia, where she was Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications EMEA. Jen has over 10 years’ experience in agency and in-house medical communications.

Account Director, Ed Sexton, previously led media relations for the UK BioIndustry Association, whose award-winning Brexit campaign represented more than 330 life sciences companies in the UK. A journalist by training, Ed has a strong track record in corporate and policy-based communications.

Additionally, Riana Horner joins as Account Manager with cross-sector social and digital marketing expertise from her previous role at Space Digital (Australia). Senior Account Executive, Holly Wilmott, arrives from health agency Creative Connection.

Pegasus recently won silver at the PM Society Awards for its innovative ‘reverse poem’ that marked twenty years of progress in HIV treatment. The recognition follows the agency winning the Charity Challenge Award at the 2018 PharmaTimes Communications Team of the Year 2018 and being ‘Highly Commended’ for Consultancy of the Year at last year’s Communique Awards.

Pegasus’ recruitment drive in Pharma & Life Sciences continues this month, with newly created roles including Senior Account Manager.
