Pegasus, an Ashfield company, part of UDG Healthcare plc, last night scooped its fifth ‘consultancy’ award of the year at the PRCA Awards in London’s Park Lane where it secured the title of Specialist Consultancy of the Year 2016.
Pegasus’ award-winning season started in Berlin in June where it picked up the title of EMEA Healthcare PR Consultancy of the Year at the SABRE Awards. The consultancy then went on to add the esteemed Communique Communications Consultancy of the Year award to its honors in July. In October, the company was crowned both Specialist Consultancy of the Year at the PR Week UK Awards and Global Healthcare PR Consultancy of the Year at the Global SABRE Awards. Last night’s win cemented its position as the UK’s leading integrated healthcare communications consultancy.
Pegasus has a mission to ‘inspire healthy decisions’ through its own brand of integrated communications. The consultancy take a ‘health first, sector second’ approach to its work and its campaigns are informed by its proprietary CHANGE planning model, developed from UCL’s COM-B behaviour change theory.
Simon Hackett, Managing Director at Pegasus, commented: “We are all totally blown away by this news and are delighted to have received five such prestigious consultancy titles! Our success has certainly been a result of our truly integrated offer, our robust approach to planning, our creative thinking, and a focus on best of breed client servicing. But most of all, it’s down to our fantastic people who this year, with pride, enthusiasm and a real dedication to our mission of inspiring healthy decisions, have delivered some of the most creative, persuasive and challenging campaigns to have come out of our industry, all made possible by the support of our clients.”
Pegasus was acquired by UDG Healthcare plc in April 2016 and has joined Ashfield Healthcare Communications, part of the Ashfield Commercial & Medical Services division. For further information, please visit www.thisispegasus.co.uk or www.ashfieldhealthcare.com.
