PRGN adds OVID Health as Specialist Healthcare Member Agency

OVID Health joins PRGN, boosting patient-centred healthcare and life science communications

The Public Relations Global Network (PRGN) has announced that OVID Health, an independent public relations and public affairs agency based in London, UK, has joined the network. OVID Health, with its healthcare focus, joins PRGN as demand grows for patient-centred, insight-led work in healthcare, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.

The addition comes as healthcare organisations shift from one-way news to collaborative dialogue with patients, healthcare professionals (HCPs) and the public. OVID works where science, policy and patient needs meet. The agency will help PRGN member agencies support clients in complex and highly regulated markets.

“OVID Health brings a new level of expertise to PRGN, especially in healthcare, pharma and biotech,” said Frédéric François, President of PRGN and managing partner of two cents in Belgium and the Netherlands. “Their focus on patient-centred strategies and their deep understanding of the UK, European and global markets will help our network offer even stronger support to clients who need to reach people in meaningful ways.”

Founded by former journalist and political adviser Jenny Ousbey, OVID Health helps organisations connect with patients, healthcare stakeholders and policy leaders. The agency integrates policy, advocacy and public relations and supports global life science firms, including leaders in rare disease, oncology, neurology and cell and gene therapy.

“PRGN brings together independent agencies that share a belief in the power of communications to drive real-world impact, and that alignment really matters to us,” said Jenny Ousbey, CEO and Founder of OVID Health. “As a healthcare specialist agency, we work at the intersection of science, policy and patients’ lived experience, helping organisations engage more meaningfully with patients, HCPs and society. Becoming part of PRGN allows us to collaborate with like-minded partners around the world, extend the support we can offer global pharmaceutical and healthcare brands, and contribute our perspective on patient-centred, insight-driven communications in complex and highly regulated markets.”
