Protecting the Heart Through Education at ESC 2023

August 15, 2023 | Education, cardiology, medical education

Medscape Education Global is joining cardiology professionals from across Europe for ESC 2023 in Amsterdam. This year’s congress theme is “Joining Forces to Protect the Heart,” and Medscape will be working hard to do their part through education and networking events for congress attendees.

Members of the Medscape team will be hosting a booth (E.600) on the exhibit floor in order to engage with Medscape members. They’ll be on-hand to answer questions about Medscape memberships, the latest cardiology education, and what’s new and exciting in the field. Visitors will be able to pick up a comprehensive list of available cardiology education, which will allow them to easily scan QR codes to access the latest cardiology activities on their phones.

“We’re always excited to meet our cardiology members at congresses like ESC. Getting to meet our members and hear how Medscape has impacted their practice is always a great experience, and we can’t wait to see our international colleagues. We look forward to ESC every year!” said Jelena Spyropoulos.

A highlight of the congress will be the Medscape symposium being held on 26 August. The event will feature four of Medscape’s leading faculty as they examine a patient case to discuss post-ACS cardio protection. A lively discuss between the faculty will be followed by a Q&A where attendees will have the opportunity to have their questions answered.

To round out Medscape’s ESC activities, the Medscape team will also give conference attendees an opportunity to relax and network outside of the congress during their “What’s Brewing at ESC?” social event. The event will feature prominent members of the Medscape faculty as they discuss the rapidly evolving cardiovascular environment, including the latest guidelines and the role of AI. Refreshments will be served during this relaxed and informative event.

“The event we’re holding at ESC will be one of a kind. It’s a rare treat to get so many faculty of this caliber in one room, and we’re looking forward to their insights on the ever-changing world of cardiology. We know the event will be informative and also a great way to spend some time away from the busy congress and enjoy some time among our colleagues,” said Jelena Spyropoulos.
