Waggener Edstrom has hired Matt Foster as account director for its UK healthcare practice.
Foster joins the communications agency from Hill+Knowlton (H+K) Strategies, where he was also account director, gaining experience in product PR, and digital campaigns.
At Waggener, Foster will be responsible for leading work on a selection of the healthcare team’s UK and global pharmaceutical and corporate healthcare accounts.
“Healthcare is a priority for the agency, which is being backed up with significant investment by the company,” said Anna Gray, VP healthcare at Waggener. “Matt is a highly talented individual and we are thrilled that he has joined us.”
Foster said: “I’m very pleased to be joining Anna’s team at Waggener. I have always admired the company’s entrepreneurial spirit from afar, so it is great to finally be a part of it during this period of growth for healthcare”.
Prior to joining H+K, Foster’s positions include senior account manager at Tudor Reilly and senior account executive at Tonic Life Communications.
