Frontera Global, a behavioural intelligence consultancy that connects research, strategy and medical communications to help healthcare brands turn evidence into adoption, has appointed Steph Wasek as General Manager and Mohammed Saleh Bham as Director of Growth.

Wasek will oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, working closely with clients and colleagues to further enhance the quality, impact and value of Frontera Global’s services. They bring more than 20 years of medical writing and strategy experience across the healthcare, biopharma and medtech sectors, having held senior scientific services positions within the medical communications industry at agencies including Lucid Group and Bedrock Healthcare Communications. Most recently, they served on the leadership team at Synergy Vision as Head of Strategic Development and Integration, where they launched service lines and drove initiatives to strengthen culture and capabilities.

As Director of Growth, Bham will lead the company’s business development strategy, focusing on building new partnerships, expanding market opportunities and developing capabilities that respond to pharmaceutical clients’ changing needs. He joins the business from Massive Wave Research, where he established and successfully launched the company’s healthcare division. Prior to this, he co-founded healthcare communications agency Collected Group and held roles within Pfizer’s Medical Affairs function, bringing a blend of commercial, strategic and industry experience to the role.

Wasek said: “Biopharma and medtech companies increasingly need their teams and partners who can connect the dots across traditional functional boundaries. Frontera already has a strong foundation in behavioural intelligence; my focus is on ensuring those insights carry through into communications, education and creative work that change what audiences understand and do.”

Bham added: “Pharmaceutical companies are under growing pressure to differentiate their products and navigate increasingly complex care pathways. Success requires more than generating additional data; it requires identifying where adoption may stall, recognising patterns in the evidence, understanding the behaviours behind them and translating those insights into coordinated action across markets. Our ambition is to help clients build and sustain momentum behind their brands and products.”
