The EFQM is a non-profit membership foundation based in Brussels.  It promotes an excellence model framework for organisational management systems, which is designed to aide organisations in their drive towards being more competitive. EFQM runs the annual EFQM Excellence Award, which is designed to recognised organisations that have achieved an outstanding level of sustainable excellence.

EFQM Membership is open to organisations, rather than individuals. Its objective is to encourage organisations to improve and maintain high levels of performance. EFQM offers networking, mutual learning experiences and supports the implementation of high quality utilities and practices.
