A recommendation of a product or service from a satisfied customer. A customer Testimonial is generally used in a product or service’s promotions and advertising. A testimonial commonly contains a written or spoken statement, generally from a member of the public, occasionally a public figure. This statement will for the purposes of endorsement be proclaiming the excellence of the product or service. However testimonial is usually associated with a member of the public statement, whereas a testimonial by a public figure (e.g a celebrity) is generally referred to as an endorsement and in most cases paid for.
